So what did we do today?

We got up earlier than our usual weekday time, to get down to Crystal Palace Station to catch the early train….and hello

After waiting on the platform expecting the train to light up and open its doors until after its expected departure time we walked the length of the platform to discover  that there was no driver init. No drive equals no departure.

So back up to the ticket office to figure out what our alternative was. Several of the other lines were not running due to ‘engineering works’

Short version is that we got to Euston Station in time to catch our intended train to Birmingham to go to the NEC and the Spring Caravan and Camping Show.

We had a nice couple of hours wandering around looking in campervans. We have definite ideas about what we want in a van so that narrowed the field in terms of layout and size.

Confirming our choice, but also giving us an alternative.

And it was a pretty cold day out there today and we were pleased to get back to our nice warm flat.
